Placements

In the past, Ayurveda doctors didn’t have much options and had to start their own ‘clinics’ after completing Ayruveday course. However, things have changed since then. As Ayurveda is gaining prominence in the country, ayurveda treatment is much sought after in the western coutnreis as well. As a result many Ayurveda Chikitisalayas, Ayurveda spas and retreats are coming up across the coutnry. Hence the prospect of Ayurveda is very promising.

After successful completion of the course, students are placed in some of the most repuated Chikitsalayas or “Ayurveda hospitals” across the country. As a clinical practitioner, a student should be well-acquainted with different Ayurveda practices like Panchbhautik Chikitsa, Nadi Pariksha, Dhatu Chikitsa, etc. Depending upon their interests and expertise, students can choose a specialization and practice the tradition.

Alternatively, students may also wish to pursue for higher studies and specialize in a particular field of Ayurveda which helps to get a better placement later.

Students who are not interested to pursue clinical practice, can be placed in management roles with different Ayurvedic hospitals.

Many ayurveda drug manufacturing companies also look for qualified ayruveda students. The job will be mostly in a factory setup. This is a promising career option and pays handsomely to the right candidate.
