College offers admission to MBBS courses under State as well as NEET-UG (All India Quota) score. 15% seats are reserved for NEET-UG qualified candidates.The College also accepts direct admission under Lateral entry scheme from second year.

How to Apply for NEET?

Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for NEET:

• Visit the official site of NEET website and click on the New registration link
• After reading the instructions carefully, click on apply online
• Fill out the required details in the application form like personal details, academic details and other details
• Review the application form carefully and click on Final Submit
• Candidates will be issued NEET login credentials after a successful registration
• Sign in again using the credentials in order to complete the NEET application form
• Scan and upload the required documents like photos of passport size and postcard size, signature, the impression of left thumb, passing certificate of class 10 in the form according to the guidelines
• Make the payment of application using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI app/ E-Wallet
• Take a print copy of the application form and the confirmation page for further reference

• Scanned copy of Passport size photograph of the candidate
• Scanned copy of Postcard size photograph of the candidate
• Scanned copy of the signature of the candidate
• Scanned copy of left thumb impression
• Mark sheet of 10th

• Boys Hostel

  At Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal - Life in the campus is probably the most memorable period in the lives of the students. • Girls Hostel

• Gym

  Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal provides many indoor and outdoor games separately for boys and girls. Well equipped Gymnasiums with qualified trainers are available. Separate gym with modern equipment is made available in Gents and Ladies Hostel. Separate gym for faculty is also available in the staff quarters with all modern gymnasium equipments. Students enjoy and have an all-round development by participating and excelling in games. Annual Sports meet, Inter-Collegiate competitions and Sports programs are conducted every year at various campuses of our University giving the opportunity to improve the talent in games and keep the students physically fit. Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal has conducted two Inter- Collegiate Sports Tournaments in its campus and won the over-all-trophy twice.

• Library

  The central library provides library services for any staff member. working College and hospital staff are encouraged to call, email or fax the VMMC librarian with any request. All requests are processed promptly. There are 14000 books. The following services are provided: Literature searches, Journal articles, Books, Current awareness services and Selective Dissemination of information (SD). Literature searches: Library service offers access to many specialized databases, including medicine, the Cochrane library, and CINAHL and can perform literature searches to find articles and information on a wide variety of topics. This is useful for finding research on any aspect of a specific disease or condition, finding the most up-to-date evidence-based information, finding information on current trends in health care, health policy health management and finding statistics collected by local, national & worldwide health agencies.

• Sports

  To conform to the adage ‘sound mind in a sound body’, a well equipped physical education department under on physical education director is functioning. There are outdoor facilities for football, volleyball, throw ball, cricket, and track. The students have won many laurels in various inter-college tournaments. Good teamwork and leadership development on the fields.

• Cafeteria

  Canteen facilities are available in both College and Hospital campuses of Vinayaka Missions Medical College. A separate hygienic central kitchen is available at our institution for preparation of food for the hostellers. Separate Kitchen facility is made available at all the hostels and quarters of our institution which are maintained under hygienic conditions. Delicious meals, refreshments, and snacks are available at reasonable rates.

• Auditorium

  The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

• Medical/Hospital

  An intelligent mind is best ingrained in a healthy body. At Vinayaka Missions Medical College, health management is given due importance and is second only to intellectual and spiritual well-being. Health services provide general first-aid, emergency treatment, nutrition advice, eye, and ear testing and referral to specialist services. Vinayaka Health Club of our college provides guidance on health services. Simple and affordable insurance schemes are available for students to get health coverage. Medical services and consultations are free at our teaching Hospital and students are availing these facilities.

• IT Infrastructure

  The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

• Transport

  Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal provide convenient transportation through a fleet of well-maintained buses that ply between the college and various locations at the towns. For the benefit of the students, the transportation charges are subsidized. Students are also permitted to come on their own vehicle. Wearing helmet is made compulsory for those who come on their own vehicle to the college. We have about fives buses and two mini buses for transportation of students.
