NEET

The National Eligibility Entrance Test formerly the All-India Pre- Medical Test is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges.  It is conducted by a National and testing agency. It is an entrance for all the undergraduates pursuing for doctor. It’s a pen and paper-based examination. The knowledge of skills based on Biology, Chemistry and physics are tested. The duration of the examination is about 3 hours.  NEET-UG is a single entrance test for admissions to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India. There are a total of 180 questions asked in the exam,45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry Botany and Zoology. Each correct get 4 marks and each incorrect response gets -1 negative marking. The exam is of 720 marks. Eligibility criteria The eligibility criteria are that the candidate must be 17 years of age and according to 2021 criteria, a candidate older than 25 can also appear for the NEET examination. Application process The application form for the NEET examination will be on the neet.nta..nic.in  Eligible candidates can register themselves for the medical entrance test on or before the last date of NEET registration. NEET PG

NEET PG The National  Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( post graduate) is a qualifying and raking examination in India.  It for for students who wish to study various postgraduate Doctor of medicine, Master of Surgery and diploma courses, in government or private medical colleges in the country.  It’s a computer-based examination. The duration of the exam is around 210 Minutes. This exam is conducted once a year. For application procedure you can check their website https://nbe.edu.in/. Eligibility Candidates studying in India, having a bachelor of medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate are eligible to give the NEET examination. Application Process The application form for the NEET PG examination will be on the https://nbe.edu.in/. Eligible candidates can register themselves on the website. Documents required 1.      Admit card of NEET PG 2.      All mark sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st,2nd , 3rd professional examinations 3.      MBBS /BDS Degree Certificate/ Provisional Certificate. 4.      Result or Rank card. 5.      Internship Completion Certificate on or before 31st March of the year of admission. AIIMS MBBS

AIIMS MBBS 2022 Exam will be conducted in September 2022. However, AIIMS MBBS has been replaced by NEET 2022. Through this exam, candidates are provided admission into MBBS program. Admission will be provided to the qualifying candidates in various AIIMS Institutes located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Patna, Raipur, and Bhubaneshwar.   AIIMS MBBS 2022 Eligibility Criteria Candidates must fulfill AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria before applying for the exam. Following are some of the eligibility criteria: Age Criteria: Candidate should have obtained or will attain the age of 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission. Candidates born on or after 2nd January, 2005 are not eligible to apply. Minimum Marks: The minimum aggregate of the marks in the examination for General and OBC candidates are 60%, for SC/ST candidates are 50% & for PWBD candidates are 45%. Subjects: Candidates should have English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained in the qualifying examination. AIIMS MBBS Reservation Criteria 2022 A certain percentage of seats in AIIMS are reserved for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates. In the six new AIIMS (Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh) with an intake of 100 students each and 50 students each in AIIMS Nagpur and Guntur the reservation policy followed is tabulated below : Category Reservation (%) Scheduled Caste (SC) 15 Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5 Non-Creamy – Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) 27 People with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) 5   AIIMS MBBS Registration 2022 AIIMS has revised the entire form filling procedure. From this year, it will be a two-stage process comprising of: Basic Registration: to be tentatively open from November – January. Final Registration: formalities of this stage involve paying for the exam, choosing the exam centre etc.  The application fee for general and OBC categories is INR 1500 and for SC/ST candidates is INR 1200. USMLE

USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) The USMLE (the United States Medical Licensing Examination) is conducted in three parts clearing which can get you the golden ticket to attain the opportunity to study abroad in the domain of Medicine. It is collectively sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Board (FSMD) and National Board of Medical Examiners ( NBME) and these exams are considered as one of the toughest exams in the world. It is mandatory for aspirants to qualify in all three levels of exam which aims to test their clinical skills, knowledge related to the medical field along English fluency.    The eligibility criteria for USMLE is when a student is officially enrolled in, or a graduate of, a US or Canadian medical school program leading to the MD degree that is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. A medical student officially enrolled in, or a graduate of, a US medical school leading to the DO degree that is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. A medical student officially enrolled in, or a graduate of,a medical school that is outside the US and Canada, listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools as meeting ECFMG eligibility requirements and that meets the other eligibility criteria of the ECFMG.   Application Process for USMLE • Create an account of the ECFMG website • Head to the ECFMG website and fill out the USMLE Step 1 application form • Form 183 • Send form 183 to Philly • Wait for your scheduling permit • Book a date at Prometric   Documents required at exam • Medical school diploma and translated if not in English • Two passport-sized photographs • Other documents might be needed  

MCAT

MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) MCAT is another very popular entrance examination which is written for applying in abroad and it is a crucial exam for those who want to study a medical course in the US, Canada, Australia, or Carribean Islands. The MCAT exam is held 25 times in a year and its registration process is divided intro three zones namely, gold,silver,bronze. This exam is organized by the Association of American Medical College. It is a computer based exam consisting of 221 questions that comprises of 4 sections which students have to solve in 7.5 hours.   Eligibility criteria : • Any candidate interested in pursuing career in Allopathic, Ostheopathic ,Podiatric and Veterinary can appear for MCAT. • Students from U.S and Canada must have a UG Degree to be eligible for the exam. • International Candidates must be pursuing or should have completed MBBS to sit for MCAT. • Students taking MCAT exam for other purposes other than pursuing a career need to take special permission from AAMC authorities. Application process for MCAT Following are the necessary steps that need to be taken : • Visit the official website student-residents.aamc.org • Create an AAMC account by providing necessary information • A verification email will be sent to the registered email address • Click on the link provided by the verification email sent across and sign in • Click on start exam registration to make an appointment • Provide information asked • Agree to terms and conditions • Select exam schedule and test center • Pay the application fee using VISA or MasterCard credit card • A confirmation email will be sent to you via email at the registered email address. Documents required • Passport/driving licence with signature MCAT Fee Structure and Scheduling Zone MCAT varies depending upon when you are applying for the exam The registration deadlines are divided into three zone – Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
