Health care world over has shifted towards more Natural methods of treatments & is now focusing on Holistic approach or the Mind Body medicine. New frontiers in Integrative medicine have proven beneficial to heal individuals more effectively & people are beginning to appreciate the benefits of using natural healing therapies. A 2008 study by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) found 38 percent of adults and 12 percent of children in the U.S. use some form of alternative medicine.
Naturopathic medicine is based on the concept of treating the body with Panchamahabhuthas that is Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether which forms the basic constituents of the body. Naturopathy promotes the body to rejuvenate and recover by facilitating its own healing capacity by providing and enabling a favorable internal mechanism in the physical and mental sphere, revitalize and rejuvenate the body and strengthen the immune system against the disease causing agents present in and around individuals. It also educates and empowers individuals to make lifestyle changes necessary for the best possible health.
Yoga is now worldwide accepted evidence based system of healing owing to its holistic & integrated concept of approach and suitability for all age groups. Its simplicity of application & cost effectiveness has brought a tremendous change in the Medical field. Both Naturopathy & Yoga work wonderfully in prevention, treatment & rehabilitation when scientifically applied. Their complementary nature, safety, lack of adverse effects, cost effectiveness & simplicity have made them popular in the medical fraternity & accepted in the world’s best Health care setups.
Established in 2011 Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Meerut is a constituent college of Swami Vivekanand Subharti University backed by the SKKB Charitable Trust. It is the first institurion of its kind in North India. The College thrives for producing quality doctors of Naturopathic Medicine & Yoga Therapy. Hence the academic program has been developed to ensure that students have the opportunity to build a strong foundation and to demonstrate competency in each major modality involved in Lifestyle Modification, Natural Therapies, Mind Body medicine, Integrative Medicine & Chronic disease management & Rehabilitation. The students from various parts of the country & abroad have a conducive atmosphere to emerge as successful achievers in the field. The college supports all-round personality development through cultural programs, sports events, moral codes, ragging free environment & a supportive approach.

The college has a boy’s hostel facility There are 14 hostels including 2 NRI hostels within the Subharti University Campus. The hostels maintain strict timings of entry. All hostels have a resident warden and also a chief warden (Girls/Boys Separate) for the proper management & care of the students.

The college has are two well-equipped Gymnasiums on the University campus for Boys and one Gym is for Girls, there are separate Couches in GYM for Boys and Girls.
The college has a library is spacious enough to cater not only to the existing needs but also accommodates resources & services for future requirements. There is a continuous effort to update & add to our study material resources.
The college has a view of all-round development of the students, liberal arrangements have been made in the way of indoor, outdoor games and sports facilities for boys and girls so as to provide them with ample competitive and recreational opportunities.
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. SVS-University Offers an excellent choice of places to eat within the University campus. University Houses Six Canteens which offer Multi-Cuisine Menus ranging from Indian to Continental and Chinese in a Modern and Hygienic ambiance, with one exclusively for Girls. For Snakes, Juices, Beverages, and other Indian and Continental fast foods, there are three Modern Cafeterias on the University Campus.
The College has a State of the Art Auditoriums facility. The campus has two other auditoriums with a seating capacity of around 500, each air-cooled and air-conditioned respectively, besides possessing two multi-purpose halls which are used for diverse activities such as seminars, symposia, debates, cultural activities, movies shows/previews/etc. Also, each college has an individual counseling room, seminar room & and auditorium for their Individual events.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
The college has a branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce that has been set within the premises of the University, which offers all kinds of National and International Banking Facilities, including education loans to students on easy terms if desired.
