Achutha Ayurvedic Medical College is to impart education and training in Ayurveda, an Indian System of medicine to the students, particularly from the backward and rural areas and economically weaker students of the society.

The candidate shall have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and have obtained a minimum of sixty per cent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the case of general category and fifty per cent marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
b. The B.A.M.S Degree programme is on 31st December every year9. The course duration is five years with a study period of three years and a one-year internship period and the option for a two-year extension course.

| Admission Procedure |
| Application forms are available in the college office from the admission counter and submit after filling it duly. After receiving the duly filled in applications, candidates would be informed about the remaining admission formalities. |
