After completing your MBBS degree, one needs to clear the NEET PG entrance examination or PG entrance exams of other centralised colleges such as AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG etc. to apply for admission to PG courses at the medical institutes. Since there are numerous postgraduate medical courses one can choose to pursue after MBBS and each course may have specific eligibility criterias, it is important to have a thorough knowledge about your chosen PG course to be able to prepare for the same well in time.

 

ELIGIBILITY :
  • There are typically two counselling sessions: the first is for registration, fee payment, and seat allotment. Students who enrolled for round 1 but were unable to secure a spot should register for round 2. In Round 2, new registrations are accepted as well (if required).
  • Seats under the State Quota and the All-India Quota are subject to the two rounds of counselling. Counselling's Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round are primarily for places at Central or Deemed Universities.
  • The All India Quota has the following quota guidelines: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 25% for OBC, 10% for EWS, and 5% for those with disabilities.
