NEET

The National Eligibility Entrance Test formerly the All-India Pre- Medical Test is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges.  It is conducted by a National and testing agency. It is an entrance for all the undergraduates pursuing for doctor. It’s a pen and paper-based examination. The knowledge of skills based on Biology, Chemistry and physics are tested. The duration of the examination is about 3 hours.  NEET-UG is a single entrance test for admissions to more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India. There are a total of 180 questions asked in the exam,45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry Botany and Zoology. Each correct get 4 marks and each incorrect response gets -1 negative marking. The exam is of 720 marks. Eligibility criteria The eligibility criteria are that the candidate must be 17 years of age and according to 2021 criteria, a candidate older than 25 can also appear for the NEET examination. Application process The application form for the NEET examination will be on the neet.nta..nic.in  Eligible candidates can register themselves for the medical entrance test on or before the last date of NEET registration. NEET exam will be of a three-hour-long duration, where candidates must answer 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects as per the given NEET syllabus
