Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2026 is conducted by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Tamil Nadu for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% State Quota seats and private medical colleges in the state. Candidates who qualify NEET UG 2026 and meet the state eligibility requirements can participate in the online counselling process. Admissions are granted based on NEET scores, state merit rank, seat availability, reservation policies, and candidate preferences. • Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG 2026 examination.
• Applicants should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must meet the minimum qualifying percentile prescribed by NTA for NEET UG 2026.
• The minimum age requirement is 17 years as on December 31, 2026.
• Candidates seeking admission under the Tamil Nadu State Quota must satisfy the domicile/nativity requirements specified by the state authorities.
• All applicants must fulfill the eligibility conditions laid down by the Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates are required to complete the online counselling registration process within the prescribed schedule.
