More than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination conducted across 5,440 centres in India and 14 centres overseas. Candidates can check key statistics released by the NTA, including the total number of registered and appeared candidates, examination centres, officials and invigilators deployed, overseas test locations, and other important details related to the conduct of the examination. 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided key statistics related to the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on June 21, 2026. According to the agency, more than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the re-examination at centres across India and overseas.

The exam was conducted at 5,440 test centres nationwide, along with 14 examination centres located outside India. NTA noted that the large-scale examination was successfully organized through coordinated efforts involving various central government ministries, state authorities, district administrations, and security agencies.

To ensure accessibility for candidates from different regions, the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination was conducted in 13 languages, including Hindi and English. The agency also highlighted the extensive logistical and security arrangements implemented to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

Special Examination Facilities for PwD and Medical Candidates 

NTA implemented several support measures to ensure a smooth examination experience for all candidates. More than 10,000 Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates appeared for the examination and were provided with the necessary facilities as per prescribed guidelines. Additionally, the agency extended special assistance to 81 candidates with serious medical conditions. Comprehensive support arrangements were made to help eligible students throughout the examination process.
