Rural Medical College, Loni was established in the year 1984 for healthcare, research and to provide socially meaningful medical education. The college is spread over 120 acres of land. Earlier, the institute was affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and the University of Pune and later on it got affiliated to Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences – Deemed to be University. Rural Medical College, Loni is recognised by the Medical Council of India and General Medical Council, U.K. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.
